The remarkable photographic business journey began in Denver. After managing a downtown camera store, Philip Wm. Tobias Photo/Graphics was founded in 1973. The studio business shown below was operated in the same Denver location until sold in 1995. The business sale included the going concern, complete with equipment, client database and negatives, along with limited trade name rights. The business continued for some time before changing location and relinquishing the trade name. Here is the take-away: Philip Tobias started a respected photographic tradition that endured for over a quarter of a century.
